BBQ Blanket

Used this product 1 time about month after purchase. Bbq bag handle ripped clean off leaving a hole in the bag. The contents of the bag was about 6 lbs of meat, way less than it's supposed to carry. Contacted seller who decided a response wasn't necessary. Nothing like getting ripped off and the business silently saying kick rocks.

I have a tiny bbq that is great for one or two hot dogs or burgers, but if I want to do something like 2# of carne asada, I'm going to have to do it in batches. This bag is perfect for those occasions!

It's significantly larger than I expected but retains heat and is easy to open while grilling. The flat bottom makes it easy to set grill-side too, and for $20, I'll be gifting more to my grilling friends. Fantastic practicality!

Will also come in handy when tent camping to protect food from insects.

Generous size. Gallon jug in my picture for scale. It actually looks bigger in person than you might expect.

It’s also really light. It only weighs a few ounces at the most. Wide opening helps when you’re putting larger cuts like brisket or pork shoulder in and taking them back out.

It’s designed to hold heat for a few hours, and the sealed zipper and leak resistant material help keep everything contained while the meat rests.

Cleanup looks simple since you can just wipe it down or wash it, and it has a loop so you can hang it to dry

So far it does what I expected, just need more time using it to see how it holds up long term.

Price seems decent.

First impressions: Nice large bbq blanket, it’s really thick and has a zipper with two pulls. There is a lot of room inside the bag, there is a gusset on the end that opens up when you need it. There is a silver reflective liner to keep the heat inside.

Installation/setup: Use to keep your barbequed meat from cooling too quickly while it is resting after removing from the heat.

Final thoughts: Meats, especially thick meats like tri tip need to rest for about 10 minutes to equalize the temperatures throughout and let the juices settle. If the meat is cut too soon the juices can run out all over the plate and leave your roast dry and tasteless. I usually put my tri tip on a plate and then put it in the bag to keep things clean and tidy. I like this and I’m glad I got it. It works well.

I found this BBQ blanket to be great. It is great for you to use and I see it being a great gift for an avid barbeque-r in the family or among friends. The first thing I check with items like this is the zipper and it is easy to drag along and has a durable build. The size is really nice for our family of five and contributes to it being a great value buy. We can fill enough for lunch and dinner (and breakfast too if that floats your boat).

I ordered and received the Havenity Store's BBQ Blanket for Resting Meat. This BBQ Blanket is a good looking, large zippered bag. The zipper works just fine. The blanket is lined with foil insulation that you can see in my third photo. Everything about this blanket is made to allow for easy cleanup. The blanket seems sturdy. It is versatile and able to hold a variety of large and small meats. It is a good size for a family or even a party (depending on the size of the party!). The blanket is easy to store when not in use since it can be folded flat.

Nice, I like the bag, I might like a tag/gripper at end of zipper, or better maybe carrying handles like on a pizza bag, loops under, but still recommend as is, not just meat, but keeps hot things hot and cold cold for longer; groceries?

I didn't realize that something like this existed until I saw this one! When smoking pork, we used to wrap it in a towel and put it in a cooler to let it rest. This is a much better system :)
I wasn't sure if it was going to be large enough to fit a big piece of meat off the smoker, but it is big enough to fit a whole tray with meat on it.
It isn't extremely thick, but appears to be sufficiently thick/insulated enough to do the job.

I gifted my husband a meat smoker and seasoning blends for Christmas with a specialty meat thermometer that connects to his phone. Totally thought I had all my bases covered until he did his first couple meats (brisket %26 carnitas pork 🤤). He was scrambling to locate something insulated enough for the meats to rest in, ended but using some heavy kitchen towels. After the second time I realized I needed to up his game by ensuring he had all the proper equipment and tools! This BBQ Blanket is absolutely perfect. The exterior has a faux leather look that is obviously manly and rugged, the interior insulated lining is thick and liquid resistant in the event of a spill or leaking juices(easy to wipe clean), and expanded bottom is perfect for when you are working with a larger tray with burnt ends. The zip up side is also real easy to get in and out of quickly when you're sneaking the best pieces easily ;)

This is much larger than it appears in the picture. When I grill, I cook a LOT at once, and I believe everything would fit in this bag! I believe this bag will come in handy for other things as well, like keeping takeout food, or a rotisserie chicken warm from the time you order and pick up to bringing home. This bag will really come in handy, more so than I first thought it would! 8.5x11 sheet of paper in picture for size reference.

I have a very happy husband thanks to his new BBQ blanket resting bag. He is known for his smoked pork butt. He said two pork bits will easily fit in the bag. For size, see the loaf of bread in my picture attached. Husband usually covers his meat in a towel to rest, so this bag will come in handy. It is sturdy, which is awesome, because it will get regular use.

This bag is pretty big. It folds out to double the size. The inside has the insulation material. One end is taller than the other. It zips open pretty wide. It should be easy to put meat in there. There's a handle or strap. My husband is happy with it.

Great tool to have for your grill. The size and material of the blanket is great. I love the zip because its not one of those cheap zippers, its actually sturdy! The insulation keeps everything at the right temperature once you’re done grilling

We bought the Havenity BBQ Tub a few months ago and were already impressed with the brand. When this new BBQ Blanket came out. I tried it as a pretty amateur griller and it honestly surprised me. It keeps the barbecue warm really well and the material feels thick and premium.

Even with limited grilling experience, i could tell thid was a quality product. It looks great in the setup and works exactly as promised. Simple idea, but very well made and super useful.
